2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Lanzarote has great waters for taking pictures of this young pink flabelina, (about 8mm long) clinging to part of the reef, taken on casio z85 with internal flash on soft mode in late afternoon light

I have put it in the non-swimming because he just lay there posing for me while I snapped away with my camara for 2 minutes. He was a 1.5 meter Angel Shark in only 10meters of water and Picture was taken on a casio z85 with internal flash set on soft
a pretty little thing curling up as if it´s going to sleep. Taken on my casio z85 with difuser and internal flash on soft. Enjoy
Flying in. Friendly green turtle, my wife and diveguide at El Puertito, Tenerife. Olympus E330, 8mm fisheye, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.

Dray is still taking U/W Photoshop to the extreme!
Blue Shark (70 km South of the Cape)
Seahorse
Abade Capitán
while diving the wrecks outside Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, came across this whale skeleton. It is framed nicely by the coral encruste port-hole
Blue shark...
I took this picture around christmas time, and even the reef around Lanzarote seems to festive with decorations too, lol. Hope you like it as much as I did taking it
I like this one simply because everytime I look at it I get reminded of the beauty of the oceans and remember why I like diving. It was taken in only 5m depth and with my casio z85 with the internal flash on soft
Pelican
Honeycomb moray
Skeleton of a sea urchin at 3m, taken on a Casio Z85 with internal flash on soft
Just showing the image with the diver putting a hand on the turtle belly could give an politically wrong image. We literally had to (gently) push the turtles away from time to time. The turtles didn't seem to mind. El Puertito, Tenerife.
this photo has not been altered, only cropped. It´s a bluefin damsel fish, but if you look at it upside down it looks like a bearded man wearing sunglasses, hope u can see it
Close up of a nice Octopus in a crevice that was pleasent enought to just pose while I zoom in
Fireworm. I think this format kind of fitted the subject. Olympus E330, 35mm macro, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.
Touching the dome. Very curious green turtle in El Puertito, Tenerife. Olympus E330, 8mm fisheye, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.

a non-diver might think this is a giant turtle judging by the diver but we know the scale is misleading due to wide angle lens perspective distortion
Lost in the crowds. Big school of roncadores in Tenerife. Olympus E330, 35mm macro, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.
Close-up of whiteeyed moray on the great divesite Palm Mar Cave, Tenerife. I used a big aperture to play a bit with DOF. Olympus E330, 35mm macro, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.
Green turtle and diver at El Puertito, Tenerife. Probably the friendliest turtles on the planet. Olympus E330, 8mm fisheye, single Ikelite DS125 strobe.
Scorpion fish at Fuerteventura, Spain
Trumpet fish single ds125 strobe, Ikelite Housing, Canon 20mm Prime lens, EOS 20d, RAW file format, 8inch dome.
Mosaic Moray Eel photographed off Tenerife. One DS125 strobe, Canon prime lens 20mm, Ikelite housing, EOS 20d.
