2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

I celebrated Sea Slug Day on Saturday by shooting macro for a change. We have LOADS of nudibranchs in Cape Town, all different shapes, colours and sizes. Here is an example of a gasflame nudibranch, named as its cerata resemble flames of gas light

Note the Y split at the top of one of the cerata of this nudibranch.
Over the years I have spotted three different nudibranch, different species as well, which had similar splits on their rhinophores.
