2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

First time in colder water for me, 42 farenheit, but these fellas make it well worth it! This was taken at Dillon Rock, BC with a Fuji F30 Finepix Compact.
This little guy was hanging round all the boats in one of the harbours at Vancouver Island and was too cute to resist taking a photo!
Divers on DPV pass under the floating bridge in Morrisons Quarry for and evening skills dive. Natural light, Nikonos V, Fuji 400 film & 12mm Sea & Sea lens. Cropped for subject and colour corrected.

This is an Acadian hermit crab taken in the Bay of Fundy in about 30 feet.
This shot is of a burrowing anenome called a Northern Cerianthid at a depth of 45 feet in the Bay of Fundy.
This Atlantic red anemone is wide open to collect nutrients, she is so fragile it is very difficult to opproach her without moving it, that why this picture is unique, enjoy there's more to come from the deep cold!!!!
This is a north atlantic red shrimp, taken 120 fts deep in the fjord of Saguenay, theses creatures dont see light very often, that why she look so surprised!!!

I don't know if this Polar Bear was hunting or relaxing, but I do know he wasn't intimidated as we sailed past. Lancaster Sound, Minolta X700 camera on aperture priority with 80-200 lens.
