2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

"Soaring Through The Ruins of Atlantis"
Former resident manta ray, affectionately called 'Athena', Goddess of Wisdom,gliding through the Ruins Aquarium at The Atlantis Resort.
On precious planet Earth, change is needed. Sometimes people are driven by fear or greed and that causes damage to the balance. One victim is the species sharks, the cruel act of finning decimated numbers by 70%, they deserve respect & protection.
Runner Up - worthy of note but not a medal winner - an equal 4th place if you like! Runner Up 2013

During a recent shark trip I tried a few different angles of shooting Lemon Sharks at Tiger Beach. I do love their facial and toothy expressions
