2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Racoon butterlies swarm the rocks for food.
A Spitting Angel!
Originally, I only saw the tail of this White Mouth Moray. After finding the business end, I spent a while blinding him with my strobe. Three Tables, Haleiwa, Hawaii
We were watching each other for a while... I could actually watch his eyes follow me around while I was swimming. Stocky Hawkfish, taken at 3 Tables, Haliewa, Hawaii using a single strobe on a Nikon D70 in an Ikelite housing.
I call "him" Leo. He is a Black Volitan Lion fish in my aquarium. Yea, I know, that's not underwater, but it is a great picture. He is about 2-3 years old and almost full grown, about 12 inches long and 15 inches wide with fins.
School of fish hovering around small wreck.
"Look at those teeth" while on a diving trip to the Fla Keys we stopped for a Kodak moment. This photo of my daughter was taken in 2001.
Swampthing Diver...gooey! This is a classic case of attack of the duckweed! Crystal underneath!
Angry Octopus. Shot taken on the East side of Oahu, HI.

This photo of a Moorish Idol was taken in Maui off of the Molokini Crater. I used a MX10 w/ a YS40 strobe.
Small Oyster Toadfish, taken on the wreck of the Indra off the North Carolina Coast. Nikonos V, SB-105, 1:2.
A film crew prepares to film the interior of the U352 a German U-boat sunk off the coast of North Carolina. I was moved by how the picture captures the loneliness and isolation of the sailors' resting place.

This beautiful Green Moray swam freely along side me in Utila, at one point poking the dome port with his nose...taken with Olympus EXZ500 in a Ikelite housing with a DS 125 Strobe.
