2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Blue Ring Octopus, Anilao, Philipines
Pink anemone fish (skunk clownfish) portrait. Watching clownfishes is always fun, their facial expressions and movement are so enjoyable. Taken with Canon XSi / EF 100mm USM macro / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Scorpionfish @ Anilao
Spotfin Lionfish at night. Canon XSi / EF-S 17-85mm / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Giant gorgonia fan. Washed by the strong currents that change direction like a wind in an open field, the Blue Corner is always full of life and is a favorite playground of large pelagic. Canon XSi / EF-S 17-85 IS USM in Ikelite housing.
Screaming out loud! Giant moray eel getting his gills cleaned by a cleaning wrasse. Canon XSi / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Electric Scallop, what an amazing creature the electric lightning flashed across its width over and over. Unfortunately using film this was my last fram and I missed it arching, but still a neat photo. Nikonos 5 28mm lense.
Elegance in motion! Manta ray enjoying the tidal current in German Channel, Palau. Canon XSi with EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Candy Crab, Anilao, Philipines

Wreck of the Almajane off Atlantis resort. Nikonos V 20mm lense. It was the one really sunny day we had.
Banded sea snake, Atlantis resort. Nikonos V 28mm lense, done in black and white for the effect.

Sony PC350 with Movie light. Taken off Atlantis Resort.
Beautiful tomatoe Clown Posed so well.
Atlantis Resort. Nikonos % 1:2 Macro framer
I discovered this gorgeous little 12mm Egg Shell False Cowry (Pseudosimnia punctata) almost at the end of our dive in only 7 metres of water. I needed stacked Inon UCL-165 close up lenses and a lot of patience to get the shot in surge.
