2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Manicure, anyone? Pederson Cleaner Shrimp taken with Nikon D70 and 60mm lens.
Ruby Brittle Star, central disk is about 1.5 cm. Nikon D200 with 60mm lens.
Eyes of juvenile flounder looking back, as I slowly approached from behind. Nikon D70 with 105 macro lens and dual Ikelite strobe.
Queen Trigger on top of Bloody Bay Wall at Little Cayman.
Spotted Spiny Lobster, one of the few that's been spotted on Little Cayman. Nikon D100 with 60mm lens.
Camouflaged juvenile Slender Filefish on Bloody Bay of Little Cayman.
Coney Grouper, Canon digital rebel, Ikelite 125 strobe.
Face of an Angel. Very friendly angel fish on a dive in Grand Cayman. I only had macro 105mm lense, however. :o\
Enjoy
Laying in Wait. Trumpetfish awaits prey on Little Cayman's Bloody Bay Wall.
Bluehead Wrasse. Nikon D200 with 60mm lens.
I don't care what they say! I know it was a great white shark I saw on the dive! Tomorrow I'll bring a camera!
Canon EOS Rebel
A nasty-looking Barracuda, and this wasn't cropped! Nikon D70 with 60mm lens.
Terrifying reef encounter! Canon digital EOS, SB105
An afternoon at Sting Ray City. This photo was taken with a MX10 and no strobe all natural light. I was standing in the water and on one knee to get this shot.
Fairy Basslet. Nikon D100 with 105mm lens.
Whitespotted Filefish. Nikon D100 with 60mm lens.
Swimming Crinoid (Analcidometra armata), about 2 cm. Weird little critter, looks like some kind of spider, except it has too many legs. Nikon D100 with 60mm lens.
A Barred Hamlet, another of my favorite little fish. Nikon D70 with 60mm lens.
Hogfish with a freeloading Bar Jack (aka Skipjack). Nikon D70 with 60mm lens.
Eyes of an Angel
Juvenile Red Hind, a member of the Grouper family.
Banded Butterflyfish. Nikon D70 with 60mm lens.
"Diver Mates"
"What a little Diamond!" from Grand Cayman with Canon A70.
Bridled Burrfish from Grand Cayman. With Burrfish the spines are always erect, unlike some pufferfish. Canon A70 using internal flash
Green Razorfish from Little Cayman. Nikon D100 with 60mm lens.
Another Golden Coney, but with a few more light blue spots. I don't think it will knock the spots off your's Jim!
Grand Cayman, Canon A70 using internal flash
