2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

"Ghosts of the Old Gods" - the sand tiger sharks (Carcharias taurus) of North Carolina strike a menacing profile, but they're actually quite languid and gentle. Nikon D300 in Aquatica, Nikkor 12-24mm, ambient light.
An inquisitive blue shark (Prionace glauca), off the coast of Rhode Island, and he brought a couple of little friends too. Nikon D300 in Aquatica, Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye, Sea & Sea YS90 strobes.

Jumped in the water at the dock. You'd be surprised what you find. Like this upside-down jelly(Cassiopea sp.) on a sunny day. Too bad the water was so green. Shot up close with a 10-17mm Tokina lens and Nikon 300S with Ikelite housing.
I caught this sea horse falling from sargassum floating on the surface. He was moving from there to a soft coral on the bottom in about 15ft of water.
