2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Alien in Red and Gold! With a prawn on the hunt in the nite the refraction and light coming off them from side and front lighting is amazing!
Frozen Surface - in Tobermory Ontario/Canada
Decorated for War! A Decorated Warbonnet hunting in the night pauses while a Broke Back Shrimp crawls on its back!
I have shot this photo in Tobermory Ontario. Water temp.was 1 degree Celsius and we were under the ice for 53 min.I used my D800E Nikon in Aquatica housing
An Eye on you! The spectacular morphing, colour changing and intelligent eye of a Giant Pacific Octopus. This medium sized specimen (8-10 tip to arm tip) was out hunting and allowed us to sneak in with 100 macro and +10 diopter!
I've shot this images in Tobermory Ontario under ice next to the Lighthouse.Water temp 1 degre C. I use Nikon D800E with Aquatica housing

This ice diver has just completed his "bubble checks" with his buddy at the start of their dive. Canon 6D and 15mm lens. Cropped and colour corrected.
Two divers reach the airplane sunk in Morrison's Quarry. Canon 6D & 15mm lens on aperture priority exposure in natural light. Slightly cropped and colour corrected in PS.
Searching for subject. Diver with Sony Video rig at the Welland Canal Scuba Park.
Taken on a night dive on Vancouver Island. This orange-tipped nudibranch (Janolus fuscus) was taken with a super macro converter, nauticam housing, nikon D800 with 105mm lens.

I tried using a mirror underwater to bounce extra light on the models face. A great trick I will definitely use again if lights aren't available. Shot with a 20mm.

Sitting at a depth of 150-feet, a diver explores the stern of the wooden cargo ship "Forest City" near Tobermory. Canon 6D and 15mm lens, natural light. Colour corrected and cropped in PS.
