1/125 @ f25 I'd love to tell you I planned this shot but I got lucky. However you make your own luck and I sat in front of this ribbon eels hole for ages just shooting as it came into focus. Bit of vignette added in Lightroom and a boost to levels.

1/50 @f5.6 I love Mantas. This shot was taken whilst snorkeling with them at Helengeli Thila. I made it B&W as I think Mantas lend themselves beautifully to this and it also helps get rid of some of the cloudiness of the water.

1/250 at f13 105m ISO 200. This was taken in 3.5m of water with me hanging onto Deddy, my dive guide, for support and shooting one handed. Luckily this fish was perfectly positioned and I knew I had the shot immediately.

I am used to diving the Asia Pacific region where anemones are very common, but in The Caribbean they are not so common so I shot this with a black background and was delighted with the colours the strobes brought out.

Usually these French Angel Fish are very skittish but after ten minutes or so they got used to me and as they were really interested in eating a sponge they kept coming back to me. I settled down for a long wait and finally was rewarded.

I really used a shallow depth of field here to accentuate the teeth. It's amazing how they have a row of teeth in the roof of the mouth. Wouldn't want to be a fish stuck in there!

Tough to get a shot of these guys feeding but when they do I think it looks spectacular. Like little fishermen casting their nets. Shot with two strobes, next time I'm going to try side lighting to give some more depth.

This is one of the first photographs where I planned the shot before taking it. I side lit the rhinopias with TTL on one strobe and set the other strobe to 1/8 and put it above the subject.
