A factor to consider, photographers are not the only things out looking for these sudden blooms of Silversides.

Schools of Tarpon are a very common encounter in and around the swim throughs of Eden Rock.

Face to Face
When you are the biggest creature cruising around at any given moment you have the right of way. This large Loggerhead Turtle just kept his chosen path and it was up to me to snap this shot and roll out of the way.
"Old Wise Man"
A Loggerhead Turtle making some friendly fly-bys.

Throughout the entire dive the two Caribbean Reef sharks known to us as the 'Brothers' made passes back and forth past me, getting closer and closer with each cruise past.
"Chest Bump"
Small Hawksbill heading to the surface in Grand Cayman.
"Flower Power"
Just under the ladder for this shore dive I saw the glow of these awesome soft corals.
Fantasea Fluorescence gear made this shot possible.
"Star Marks the Spot"
While exploring the mangroves around Booby Cay on paddle board, we found an abundance of starfish near the roots making for some awesome images.
"Under the Waves"
This tower of elk horn coral rests on the edge of the mini wall just below waves overhead.
"The Green House"
At such a shallow depth this mini wall was teaming with life, and so well lit on a bright sunny day.
"Like a Hawk"
No wonder we call them Hawksbill Turtles. Just before I took this image the Turtle was sprawled out over a sponge digging his sharp beak into it. Soon he used his front two fins to push himself upward while letting his beak tear off...
