Looking down rarely works underwater - here's a rare one from Martin then!
We had loads of fun with this group of spinner dolphins.
Front view of a whaleshark at Gladden Spit in Belize.
This was our best whaleshark encounter this spring. We managed to stay with the shark for several minutes and I got shots from all angles. Gladden Spit, Belize, taken 9am this morning.
Spinner dolphin taken on a calm day in Belize.
Another whaleshark from The Gladden Spit snapper spawning aggregation event, Southern Belize. Taken this morning.
Snorkelling a wreck on The Belize Barrier Reef.
A whaleshark taken yesterday morning at the snapper spawning aggregation on Gladden Spit, Southern Belize
This is a large Caribbean stingray and her mate (the remora). These rays are not to be confused with the smaller and more nervous southern stingray at Stingray City. They are very easy to approach and grow up to 6ft long.
I liked the contrast of colours, yellow and grey tube sponges with a blue background. Taken at Carrie Bow Cay in The South Water Marine Reserve, outhern Belize.
Atlantic spadefish on a patch reef in The South Water Cay Marine Reserve, southern Belize.
This iguana sits in the tree above where we keep our dive boat. I regard him as our guard iguana!
A lesser devil ray (Mobula hypostoma) coming in over the wall. South Water Cay Marine Reserve. These are similar to the larger manata rays but grow to only 4-5ft and often appear in small groups.
The turtles are starting to get horny and here is a female checking me out to see if I am a suitable mate!! The South Water Cay Marine Reserve in Southern Belize.
