2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Talk about PSYCHEDELIC!! This fantastical nudibranch was taken under our Pertamina pier not far from downtown Dili. Taken with an Olypmus C5050 and internal flash.
Taken at Bubble Beach dive site west of Dili with an Olympus C-5050 and its internal flash.
I was lucky to catch this nudibranch as it was laying its egg spiral on a dive at Secret Spot about 30km East of Dili.
Only 8 Km West of Dili is a great dive site called Dili Rock West where there is an abundance of anemones and of their clownfish residents. This guy was feeling a bit shy.
This allied cowry was found by expert spotter - Diane on a dive at Cristo Rei beach, a great dive site just outside of Dili.
This little octopus was taken at Sandy Bottom dive site where, as the name implies, it is mostly sand. This individual will use shells from nuts and clams to hide in by clamping them shut around him.
East of Dili lies the small resort town of Com. The pier and beaches there are spectacular dive spots. This nudibranch was taken at night diving between the pilons under the pier in Com. It was taken with an Olympus C5050 and internal flash.
Under our Pertamina pier not far from downtown Dili, resides a diverse community of marine critters like this porcelain crab.
Night dives at K41 dive site are often rewarded with glimpses of sleeping parrotfish who like to hide in the nooks available in the wall there.
