2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Trumpet Fish posing, Nikonos V 28mm

Whatcha Lookin' At? A digital fine art recreation combining several underwater photos taken in the Turks & Caicos using natural light. I then combined the images and added filters in photoshop.
Rush Hour on the reef. Natural light no strobe with Canon SD700
Manta Ray in the Turks & Caicos.
French Angelfish taken with a Canon SD700 digital elph with underwater housing using a custom white balance setting.
I took this photo on a recent trip to Turks and Caicos. Olympus c-5060
A diamond blenny bats her lashes and stikes a pose.
Oh yeah! The always popular "Triple Tongue". Three at once. Oh yeah, whose your diver?
Full-frame macro of a Southern Stingray eye. The iris looks like something made of gold that you would see around a pharaoh's neck. Turks and Caicos.
An interesting "Christmas Tree" scene with the lace backdrop.
Pederson's shrimp with eggs. The corkscrew anemone these guys favor makes a nice backdrop.
"Aww mom, do I hafta go to school today? I got really bad isopods." You know this had to be school picture day down at the local School of Fish. I thought it was bad when I had zits on photo day.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt
Nice colors on this Coney in the Golden phase. D100 in Turks and Caicos.
Reef Shark
Dorky Porky. The eyes look like they are made from opals.
Anemone and fish. The black and white of the fish make a nice contrast to the bright colors of the anemone. Turks and Caicos. D100 and 105mm lens.
Red Hind macro. I am fascinated by the eyes of fish. I particularly like "through the eye" shots. Note the strobe reflected in the eye.
Hello in there! Curious squirrel fish checks out the lens, up close and personal. Back off Jack, yer foggin' da lens. D100 and 105 lens.
Shark nosed goby. The metallic blue of his sides would look really good on the paint job of a car. He was more than happy to pose and show it off.
Sillouette of my wife, Debra, returning to the T&C Aggressor after a photo dive. The see-through Force fins look kinda cool. The boat adds depth.
Full-frame macro of a feather duster. The details visible in this shot make it easy to see where the name comes from. I was very pleased with the lighting and negative-space background on this one. D100 and 105 lens.
Full frame macro of a Christmas Tree worm. Backlit with strobe. Hard to get this close but, if you are patient, they pop back out and make good macro subjects. D100 and 105mm lens.
Arrow shrimp on a wire coral, 90ft. down the wall in Turks and Caicos. D100 with 105mm macro.
Peacock flounder eye, macro. These guys were abundant and cooperative. They have a very interesting pupil. D100 and 105mm lens. Turks and Caicos.
Red Night Shrimp. Full frame. D100 and 105 lens. Night dive, Turks and Caicos
Diamond Blenny. D100 and 105 lens.
