2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Lizard fish on the sand, I had a strobe malfunction so looked for contrast in my compositions to use grayscale.

Pistol shrimp in a corkscrew anemone. Note the incredibly small shrimp within the anemone. Nikon 105mm with SubSea 5X.

One of the few times my NIkon 105mm auto-focused rapidly, allowing me to snap off a nice shot of this guy.

Kissing Cousins.
Pipehorse shot taken with Nikon 105mm and SubSea 10X. I was able to lay in the sand and steady the lens for this difficult shot. 1/250 @ f32.

My first encounter with a sea horse. Down to 600 lbs. of air when spotted. No time for playing with exposure or composition, but I got off some shots.
