2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Diving from Lissenung Resort PNG, 10 year old Gabriel from Kavieng PNG while spearfishing. He also sings beautifully. More settings than true manipulation.

For the books demonstrating the rule of thirds. Very nice.
Close up of clown fish eye. Much patience and over an hour in the making. House reef Lissenung PNG.
lying flat against the mangrove mud to stay out of the frame holding my breath to make sure all bubbles had gone then gently squeezing the trigger. Great fun and rewarding.

classic CFWA shot Tony - colour in the foreground and a dive in a sunburst behind
Portrait of JulZ.
"Closer" Note: This was the only shot taken. I only took one shot because I could see that the turtle was uncomfortable. I think close range flashes on Turtles, especially at night, are very disorienting for the animal. Something to consider...
