2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

This is a picture of a beaked whale that was in Majuro Lagoon in the Marshall Islands. It seemd quite inquisitive and the picture was took while snorkelling with a Canon G10 - minor adjustments made with Photoshop. Not a happy ending the whale died.
"Magic reef" / Digital composite portraying marine life found and photographed in the atolls of the Marshall Islands. Over 80 layers taken in various dive sites of 5 Marshalhese atolls: Ailuk, Namu, Rongelap, Arno and Mili.

"Baby Sandy II" a WW2 B24 Bomber crash landed on the west end of Majuro Atoll. The pilot and co-pilot died in the crash. The rest of the crew survived and were taken prisoner by the Japanese, and later executed. (Olympus C5060 Inon wide dome.)

Bow of the Wreck we know as P-Buoy here in the Kwajalein Lagoon. Yet another great day for diving. Nikon D-60 natural light.
The aft hold of K5 Side wreck........it is still full of artillery shells dating from WWII. You want to be real careful and make sure your have great buoyancy skills!
The Loi wreck with blue sponges growing from the bow makes for a perfect place to take pictures of the photographer taking pictures!

The left side of this wreck off Shell Island in the Kwajalein Lagoon still has the bombsight toilet intact after 60 plus years under the sea. It wasn't easy being a Japanese sailor in those days!
This upright has become a haven for smaller fish.
This gun still watches for aircraft 65 years after going to the bottom.

This little shrimp perched on the head of this two stripe damsel fish is a perfect example of the symbiotic relationship that exists in the sea.
