2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire. This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away. Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

What splendid eyes these little gobies have! They hide in small crevices in rocks. They are shy but curious and it is easy to photograph them when they lean out to scrutinize the external environment. Havelock Is._April2024

With the poor vis, everything seems brown. You can't imagine that the right lighting allows to discover otherwise invisible details. Like in this close-up of a hermit crab photographed a few mt deep in the sea of Goa_2023
(Canon100, 1/200,f14,i.100)
Marine flatworms are often very little creatures, easy to spot when diving and, if you have a good macro lens, you can well focus on them as I tried in this photo taken in Goa, India_2023
(Canon100, 1/200,f16,iso100)
Eye detail of a flathead fish found hidden under the sand during a diving in Goa. Once identified, it can be photographed without problems thanks to its peaceful nature & the belief that it will not be discovered!_2023

During my dives in Goa,sometimes I came across a Flabellina & thought to myself — what an enormous one! And it turned out… it wasn't just 1. It's at times difficult to tell a singular from a mating pair as this photo.
(Canon100,1/250,f25,i.250)
A close up of a bright red Flabellina (with one of the two orange horns which is shorter, surely bitten by some predator), commonly found in the waters surrounding Goa_2023
