From Tenerife, one of a sequence of photos showing a Lizardfish catching and swallowing an Ornate Wrasse alive. The photos had to be taken in between bouts of thrashing by the Lizardfish. The whole sequence can be seen on my Flickr site.

The Doc says I've nothing to worry about it's just a tree growing out of my head!
This little hairy Hermit could do with a trim!.........Nikon Coolpix 990 + Ikelite Pro II video light
Red Indianfish from Mauritius......... Looks like a flattened Scorpionfish......... Nikon Coolpix 990 + Ikelite Pro II Video Light
I assume these two critters are mating Nudibranchs. If anyone knows what type please let me know.
Pink Seafan from St. Eustatius. I think most Gorgonia flabellum is purple, so this seemed unusual. Nikon Coolpix 990 with Ikelite Pro II Video Light
Saddled Blenny resting on a Feather Duster. How do they do that?.... Canon A70 with internal flash
Lettuce Sea Slug (Elysia crispata)from Curacao. Nikon Coolpix 990 with UR Pro filter and natural light..... Absolutely no sign of a Lizardfish whatsoever!
Lettuce or Wig for one of Dave's Muppets?
Tug Wreck from St. Eustatius, taken with Nikon Coolpix 990 and UR Pro filter using available light at 22m. If only I could get my wife and buddy Jill to change that fluorescent jacket for a more sober colour.
Orange Ball Corallimorph (Psuedocorynactis caribbeorum) from night dive in Bonaire. Taken with Canon A70 using internal flash. They start to close up if light is shone on them, so you don't get long to frame the shot.
Lac Bay Bonaire a popular spot for the wind surfers. Nikon Coolpix 990
Risbecia tyroni out for a crawl in the Whitsundays. Nikon coolpix 990 with Ikelite Pro II Video Light
Another reef shot of Little Black reef in the Whitsundays. Taken with the UR Pro filter and Nikon Coolpix 990
Anyone fancy a Manx Kipper? How about you Jim?
Chromodoris reticulata I think, but then again it could just be a Strawberry Icecream slowly melting. Found this one in Exmouth, WA. Nikon Coolpix 990 with Ikelite Video Light
Starfish from Whitsundays. I liked the patterns, so I framed the shot to concentrate on the center. I don't know if it normally looks like this or if it has some purple spotted disease. Nikon Coolpix 990, Ikelite Pro Video Light
Chelidonura electra from the Whitsundays. A sophisticated Nudibranch, note the sleek lines and voluptuous body. A real posh Nudi !!!!

Too posh to show it's gills
Reef Shot from the Black Reef in the Whitsundays. Taken using the available light at the top of the reef with Nikon Coolpix 990 and UR Pro filter.
Entrant for the Miss Nudi competition...She is from Busselton and is wearing a fetching orange polka dot dress with cute read but toxic tail. She enjoys crawling and eating blue sponge. If she had wish, it would of course be for World peace.
"Sometimes I don't know if I'm comming or going".....Taken in poor visability at Navy Pier, Exmouth, WA. The Ikelite Pro Video-Lite not much good in these condtions so I angled it down and used the UR Pro filter as well.
Octopus with red boots from Tanker Jetty, Esperance, WA.
A Dusky Nembrotha Nudibranch from Exmouth, Western Australia. The red markings were really iredescent until I put my light on it. Taken using Nikon Coolpix 990, Ikelite housing and Pro II Video-Lite
Orange Starfish from Esperance, Western Australia, and NO it is not a gardening glove!
This Club-Tipped Anemone has an abstract quality. They come in a variety of colours and patterns. Canon A70
"What a little Diamond!" from Grand Cayman with Canon A70.
Bridled Burrfish from Grand Cayman. With Burrfish the spines are always erect, unlike some pufferfish. Canon A70 using internal flash
Another Golden Coney, but with a few more light blue spots. I don't think it will knock the spots off your's Jim!
Grand Cayman, Canon A70 using internal flash
