Gentle Giant! They hadn't had a Manta Ray in the double lagoon for 15years and we had the privledge to swim with this one (our first on ever) for 5 minutes before it flew off into the blue. Canon T2I in Aquatica with Tokina 10-17mm and twin strobes.

On a recent dive just off Vancouver Island we ran into a school of 12-15 Spiny Dogfish Sharks. They were standoffish at first then this 5-6 footer swam up for a closer look and I managed to get this close up from only a couple 4-5ft away! Enjoy!

Pygmy Seahorse! These amazing creatures are one of natures most amazing species. We saw three variations but this ones face was priceless!

Twin Rocks is famous for its jacks but these smaller fish schooled together to look like a huge fish I had to take the picture. The pinnacle, fish and sun made for a great photo.

"A Swim With Nemo"
We had a beautiful spot of sun at Bonito Island in Anilao in the Philippines and I successfully captured my model the clown fish and the sun at 40ft.

This little guy is only 1.5 inches long and sat still for a close up just long enough to show off his true colours

This one seemed interested in the reflection of my port and allowed me to get very close to it (2-3 inches).

This curious Sea Lion played with us for 4-5 minutes before speeding off.
Portrait of a Warbonnet
This Decorated Warbonnet was just starting to come out and hunt on a dusk dive. He paused for a couple photos before successfully hunting and eating several prawns.

Grunt Sculpin with extreme close up. I love all the colour and the many textures and contours.

We managed to see a lot of Sharks on our dives in Benga Lagoon (just off the main island of Fiji).

A Giant Nudibranch with a successful hunt on a tube dwelling anemone.
