Feeling sleepy ?
In the Galapagos all the animals are unafraid and come very close to people. This little sea lion was tired of resting on the rocks so thought nothing of using one of the sun loungers instead !!!

Perfect Symmetry.
I had a ball diving with the baracuda. This site also gets grey reef sharks and that was what most other divers were interested in. I just loved the baracuda !!

Kingpost of Fujikawa Maru.
MWB, ixus 980 and fisheye lens.
The colours and growth on this wreck are amazing.
Bow of the Fujikawa Maru.
This was my favourite wreck in Truk due to the abundance of life that has taken over the wreck. The sheer size of the bow and gun can be seen by using the diver on the right for scale.
Ixus 980 & fisheye lens, MWB.
shortlistedShortlisted!
Bumphead parrotfish. Very cool fish but difficult to photograph away from the reef.
Shaab Rumi Sept 2009.
Ixus 980 with fisheye lens. mwb.
My buddy swimming with a near constant stream of barracuda. They liked the hood !!

Barracuda race....first to reach the diver !!
Another barracuda encounter in Sudan....amazing.
Parrot fish bunk beds.....three tier.

Manta cleaning station in the Maldives. Absolutely fabulous experience.
Fuji f50fd mwb.
Three Fiat cars on the wreck of the Umbria. They are quite hard to light up with a single strobe. Ixus 100 and single inon d2000 strobe.
Silky fly by !
We dived a site in sudan that had lots of silky sharks. They were very curious and kept checking us out.
Manta Train.
End of an amazing dive with 20 feeding mantas. As I was doing my safety stop these three mantas "flew" below . They did not want us to leave.
shortlistedShortlisted!
Parrot fish portrait.
Difficult to photograph during the day, parrot fish make great subjects as night falls and they begin to settle for the night. This one was photographed on the wreck of the Umbria at the start of a night dive.
shortlistedShortlisted!
Blue Lagoon Resort in Truk Lagoon as seen from the bridge of the Odyssey. Canon G9 with polarizer filter.
Business end of Barracuda !!
Apparently, whilst I was taking this guys portrait photo, another Barracuda was hovering just behind my head......checking out the finished shot !!!
