I have always dreamed of diving with a large school of barracuda and on my last hol to Sudan I got the chance on a number of occaisions. It deffo lived up to expectations !!

Near the bow gun on the Fujikawa Maru, I found this beautiful coral so I asked my buddy to swim to the other side and look back. Canon ixus 100 and single inon d2000 strobe.

Feeling sleepy ?
In the Galapagos all the animals are unafraid and come very close to people. This little sea lion was tired of resting on the rocks so thought nothing of using one of the sun loungers instead !!!

Perfect Symmetry.
I had a ball diving with the baracuda. This site also gets grey reef sharks and that was what most other divers were interested in. I just loved the baracuda !!

Who's a pretty boy then.....well certainly not this stargazer smile Stargazers really look like they belong on the set of a horror movie. Shutter lag on the compact meant that I missed the wide open mouth but got the tongue still extended.

Don't worry....no touching smile This is one of the manta and whaleshark researchers based in the Maldives. This 8 metre whaleshark was happy to stay feeding in the lagoon for over 3 hours.
