"Jabba The Hut" a/k/a sponge crag. Dumaguete. Nikon D200
Night dive. An orange speck on my LCD. After download, no idea what it was. Book says Leander Plumosus. Indo-Pacific shrimp. Too bad the snout's a little out of focus but am posting anyway because, to me, so unusual. Borneo. DX8000. Ikelite YS125.
ECU, Indo-Pacific flatworm. Pseudobiceros bedfordi. Borneo. DX8000. Ikelite YS125. 2006
Mandarinfish. Kapalai, Borneo. 2006. Sea and Sea DX80000. Ikelite YS125 strobe.
The Video Guy. Borneo 2006. DX8000. Natural light.

Crocodile fish. Borneo, 2006. Sea & Sea DX8000. Ikelite YS125 strobe.
Night dive. Borneo. 2006. From the shape of the body, the eye and the mouth flanges, I'm guessing that this is a newborn cuttlefish, clinging to debris for stability.
Sea and Sea DX8000. Ikelite YS 125.
"No Worries" Diver and soft coral. Fiji. Nikonos V with 15mm and Ikelite 225.
"Blue Lightning". Caribbean reef fish. Nikonos V with 35 mm lens.
"Double Vision". Lobster with two sets of eyes? New to me. Found hiding in boiler room of wreck of RMS Rhone. Virgin Gorda. Fuji E900 with DS-125.
"Happiness is..." discovering a 60 year old air space inside the World War II wreck of the 475' Iro Maru. Palau. Canon A-95 w/ builtin flash.
Juvenile conch on a beautiful white sand bottom, eyeballing a homo sapiens. Me. If it's lucky and a moratorium against overfishing remains in place, it can live to be 20-30 years old. Fuji E900 w/ built-in flash. Virgin Gorda.
Dinnertime a/k/a Fish Slurpee. Old photo. Aways wondered what the fish was eating. Nikonos V. 35mm lens.
The Loner. Among the tens of thousands of orange jellyfish in Jellyfish Lake, I was surprised to see this Moon Jelly. Palau. 2006. Snorkeling. Canon A-95 w/ built-in strobe.
Unidentified Subject. Palau. Poor dude looks as if he got pretty trashed last night. Fuji E900 with built-in flash only.
"I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. Demille". Cuttlefish. Lembeh, Indonesia. Canon A-95 w/built in flash. No external strobe.
"Sawtooth" clam. Super macro. World War II Iro Maru shipwreck in Palau. I'm fascinated by the unidentified turquoise matter that seems to overlay the pink veins. Canon A-95. Built-in strobe.
Sawtooth Clam (my name for it) and sponges. These are plentiful on the Iro Maru shipwreck in Palau. I've never seen them on any other shipwreck. Canon A-95. Builtin flash. No external strobe.
