This Russian T34 tank was created as a diving attraction to relieve pressure on the surrounding dive sites. In addition, the tank in the picture can no longer cause any damage or suffering, but it is a great photo opportunity.

Small pilgrim Cratena found underwater in Cala Incina-Monopoli (BA)-Italy
Mating Aeolid Nudibranch - Flabellina affinis
A small, colorful, elegant & sinuous Cratena, tenaciously clinging to a rock, comes towards me resisting the current. I enjoy photographing it looking for the contrast with the intense red of the sponge behind it _2023

Flabellina affinis (pink flabellina) keeping an eye on me. (f/29, 1/160, ISO-100, 27mm, UCL-165). - Erik
During my dives in Goa,sometimes I came across a Flabellina & thought to myself — what an enormous one! And it turned out… it wasn't just 1. It's at times difficult to tell a singular from a mating pair as this photo.

A close up of a bright red Flabellina (with one of the two orange horns which is shorter, surely bitten by some predator), commonly found in the waters surrounding Goa_2023

Chromodoris quadricolor (pyjama slug). (f/25, 1/160, ISO-100, 23mm, UCL-165 and UCL-67 stacked, the vignetting is caused by the use of a bayonet system putting the wet lenses further from the dome - can be avoided by zooming in). - Erik

Phidiana militaris. These nudis are covered in appendages named cerata which increase surface area for gas exchange and also to display ingested chemicals or for defence. Sophisticated and surprising nature as always!

Bubble nudi (Doto sp.)
I took this photo one second before this Cratena nudibranch disappeared into the sea grass. I often enjoy waiting for them to emerge from some bush to photograph their big orange eyes!
(Canon100,1/200,f20,iso400)
The u/w world becomes ever more fascinating when you dive slowly, look closely & appreciate the little things. Like this red Flabellina on the wreck off Goa. Here there are many tangled on the wreckage lying a few mt deep.
