Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

Heres a nice shoal with a disappearing point
French Polynesia. Large Lemon sharks come up from the deep along the channels, this time hopping over from the far one to the one I was in. 18mm, fuji, dual strobes.
I had been snorkeling at Fort DeRussey in Waikiki on a very calm early morning while two Green Sea Turtles were feeding on caulerpa. I used an Olympus Stylus in a PT-016 housing to get the shot. I didn't notice the reflection until it was downloaded.

Taken at one of my favourite dive sites Wheeler reef on the GBR off Townsville Queensland.
Lion Fish. Taken in the Maldives during a night dive, this juvenile lionfish was illuminated using only my buddies torch. It was made a little more dramatic by some photoshop tweaking. Nikon D70 14mm lens
