Samla bicolor nudibranch. The cerata have subapical orange band.  Oral tentacles have flattened tips.  Attains 12 mm ~.  Formerly known as Flabellina bicolor.  It can easily be found in Indo-Pacific ocean_Jan 2024

Ice divers, using cave dive techniques, proceeding to the exit hole in the shallows of Morrison Quarry, Quebec. Nikonos V, 12mm Sea & Sea lens, manual exposure. Natural light through the ice, photo not altered.

This photo was taken at Columbia Pinnacles while diving off Cozumel. I used my DC500 and had all storbes turned off but still used a wide angle lens.

Taken at about 8m with white balance manually adjusted to counter the water's filter effect. No strobe hence a natural colour without the water filtering out the red.
