2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Don't touch ! A close-up look at WW II Japanese beach mines remaining in the San Francisco Maru in Truk Lagoon. These mines are located in the first cargo hold and were photographed from near the bottom of the hold.
The remnants of the coomunication radio on the Kensho Maru in Truk Lagoon. It is located one level below the bridge.
Ever since i learnt to dive i wanted to dive the Thistlegorm. AA gun at the rear. taken with MMII-EX 20mm wide angle lens
The engine room of the Kensho Maru, Truk Lagoon - this shot shows the three aft cylinders up close, the three foreward cylindrs are visible in the backgraound, below the catwalk overhead.

If this anti-aircraft gun had been more effective in 1941, we wouldn't have a ship to dive on now...just a thought. THISTLEGORM. I find it interesting to see different compositions of the same subject. There are another 2 here at this moment.
