2024 has been the year of the bait ball in Bonaire.  This tired turtle is looking for a place to rest, oblivious of the cyclone of big eye scan just meters away.  Shot with a Nikon Z8/Nauticam housing/INON z330 strobes.

Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

This very elusive Lined Seahorse was spotted at Blue Heron bridge in Singer Island, FL. I captured this shot using a Nikonos V with a 35mm lens with a 1:3 extension tube.

"The Inner Light" Red Sea, F5, 60mm Seacam Housing, Hartenberger strobes
There is always something new underwater, but being used to the "regular" yellowish colour of anemones, I was even more surprised to find this one being bright red.
I call this guy "Headlights". It took me a while to get down to his eyelevel. One shot and he took off. F5. 60mm macro.
