Different color sea fans. Taken at a depth of about 40ft on a recent trip to Raja Ampat during Xmas 2024. Taken by a friend using an Olympus OM-D with 2 strobes.

The colors of many Chromodorididae nudis are always striking and these species of Goniobranchus called kuniei is no exception.There are delicate nuances of complementary shades that help make it one of a kind_Jan 2025

Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Regalia. Taken in Lembeh w/Nikon D70, 60mm lens & Inon Z220 strobes.
"Curious"
The nosestripe clownfish was darting in and out of the anenome so I picked my spot and waited for him to swim into shot.
I used a Nikon F-90X with 105mm Micro Lens in a NX-90 Sea & Sea Housing with twin YS-350 TTL Strobes.
Not from outer space - mantis shrimp from Lembeh Strait
A curious comb wrasse, off Shark Point in Sydney. These fish are relatively common and unafraid of divers. He was looking at his reflection in my macro lens adaptor!
"Conch Eyes"
Diving off the Nekton Pilot in Belize, I spied this conch inching his way across the sandy bottom. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally inched himself out of his shell to peek at his reflection in my lens.

Lemon Butterflyfishes taken in Southern Egyptian Red Sea in November 04 using 60mm lens and two flashguns. The exposure has been set to bring out detail in the black eye area while not burning out yellow.
