Samla bicolor nudibranch. The cerata have subapical orange band.  Oral tentacles have flattened tips.  Attains 12 mm ~.  Formerly known as Flabellina bicolor.  It can easily be found in Indo-Pacific ocean_Jan 2024

Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Anthias was taken using slow shutter speed and by "panning" along with the subject to create movement, no photoshop used. Taken at Sharksbay with E300.

Having been bitten by one of these whilst snorkling I thought I'd get my own back by forcing one to be a model! Found this one in a gap in the coral and kept it there by repeatedly flashing my strobe at it!

The eyes are pin sharp (this should be your point of focus in a critter shot)
