Different color sea fans. Taken at a depth of about 40ft on a recent trip to Raja Ampat during Xmas 2024. Taken by a friend using an Olympus OM-D with 2 strobes.

The colors of many Chromodorididae nudis are always striking and these species of Goniobranchus called kuniei is no exception.There are delicate nuances of complementary shades that help make it one of a kind_Jan 2025

Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

Massive school of Minnows
Goliath Grouper entering the wreck of the Spiegel Grove off of Key Largo
Whip coral goby. Picture taken on the second reef off Negombo, Sri Lanka.
Right in the middle of the school. In shallow water, this school of catfish turned towards me and some fish even bumped into me as I swam in a straight line. Very cool experience.

Scraweld Filefish - This was taken at night along a wall off of Tobago in stiff current. The other divers were focused on the walls looking for suitable macro fare while I adjusted my strobes and drifted. D200 with 105mm macro.
