Different color sea fans. Taken at a depth of about 40ft on a recent trip to Raja Ampat during Xmas 2024. Taken by a friend using an Olympus OM-D with 2 strobes.

Adult escorts are usually but not always related to the calf. An Aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, or even its mother. They all look after the new one. (taken under permit)

Comet Fish - in a small cave at Milaidhoo, Baa Atoll. This fish is incredibly shy, and it took me 10mins and lots of stings from crinoids in the cave to get this shot, but it was worth it. This fish apparently mimics a White-Spotted Moray.

I found this little beauty - a juvenile Queen Angelfish - on Bonaire. It's about 3 cm in length.
