eye, eye
Used my students rental camera to capture this juvenile Batfish on the safety stop, Canon A640 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Borneo, diving with Downbelow dive centre.
2 drum fish and a crab
Squirrel fish with eggs in mouth! I noticed it as it was "breathing" heavily and started getting closer and closer...
Lactophrys triqueter. Smooth Trunkfish (post-larval juvenile). THIS FISH WAS THE SIZE OF A PEA. I was shooting with my 105mm lense, so I couldn't tell underwater if I ever got his face. He's not facing me, but, there's his face!
Courting Fire Gobies
Eggs in the mouth! Taken in Mabul with Canon G9, Inon Z240 strobe & lenses.
Plaice taken at Trefor Pier North Wales, Nikon D80, 60mm Ikelite DS125 Strobe
Tiny Blennie on a bubble coral!
Cernia dorata
Longfin Bannerfish in formation, standing in the massive swell of the upcoming monsoon. Elephant Head Rock, Similan Islands, Canon EOS 350d 10-22mm
Coral Banded Cleaner Shrimp floating off the wall. D300, 105mm
Harlequin Ghost Pipefish (Solenostomus paradoxus) taken in ras ghozlani.
Cardinal with eggs in mouth. It turned its face every time it wanted to aerate the eggs by spitting them out it - doh!
False-eye Toby. Another gem with fins! Bida Nai, Phi Phi Islands, Canon EOS 350d 18-55mm
Fishs - Amblyglyphidodon leugogaster
YAA - yet another anemonefish. But I love the texture of his home anemone. Lembeh Strait.
