A beautiful site extending from about 10 meters to 45. Lots of calcareous rocks some of which quite scenic as they stand like monolith from the bottom of the sea up to a few meters from the surface. Lots of variety of life including small nudibranchia, colorful sponges, barracudas, large 1-meter groupers, large Dentex fish, jackfish and the whole mediterranean flair of animal life. In Spring and early Summer months lots of rock lobsters. Even a shark seen at this site. Nearby you can have close encounters with dolphins. At night you can easily encounter the beautiful Alicia Mirabilis.

Interesting dives around south coast of Malta and around Valetta Harbour. Most dives are shore access - occasionally difficult egress! Lots of marine fish life but often same species. Not a great diversity. A smattering of invertabrates including urchins and fire worms. Excellent wreck diving, including "Rozi" (30m) and HMS Maori (17m).
