ww2 wreck in good condition, one of the my favourite wreckcs. Depht is fro 60 feet to 130 feet, deck level. Normally you will find schools of fish here, and the wreck is a must for uw photographers

This area of reef covering approximately one square mile, is an abundance of shipwrecks and reefs ranging from 8m to 80m. There has been more loss of shipping here than on any other comparable reef on the entire south coast of Britain, with over 110 ships and more than 1,000 lives lost. Located less than one mile from the launch site, the Manacles, one of the best dive sites on the south coast of Cornwall, offers some of the most exciting diving in the country. Loads of Nudibranchs and if you are lucky even Basking sharks!!

Sheltered beach, reached via steep lane. Parking and cafe facilities at weekends and during summer months. Shore entry over pebbles. Diveable except when easterlies blowing.

Meanish pier is a great shore dive when you are diving. This is a great site for U/W photography and if you go in and out at the pier it has easy access. If you come out at the shore when the wind is blowing into the bay it can be hard to get out with a camera. This is a common site for divers around central Scotland and has loads of life. Its good for trainees to experianced divers and great for U/W Photography if you get there first as the viz can get bad if there are to many divers. this dive can be a shore dive(bit of a hike) or boat dive. max depth 17m, nice swim through and a few caves. lots of life in the summer.

The vulcanic landscape of the island continues under the surface and in combination with white sand and great visibility gives spectacular bright landscapes. There are no corals in normal dive depths, but it is still possible to see much colour. Ideal for night dives, when many critters, hidden during the day, come out of their hides.

The wreck of the Tapti fairly well broken up but still some nice large sections of hull. Clean sandy bottom so visibility can be good. Marine life to be spotted includes Conger Eel, Ling, Scorpionfish. Lots of nice Plumose Anenomes on the cover sections of the wreck.

One of Plymouth's best wrecks the Elk is 108ft and 181 Tonne. originally a trawler she was requisitioned during the war as a minesweeper. She hit a mine in November 1940 and sunk within an hour. Today she is relatively intact in 32M upright, with the bow facing NW. You can get into the fish hold and engine room. The Elk is at 50.18.30, 04.10.17

Le Poulmic 50.18.00, 04.09.65 Used as a minesweeper during the war Le Poulmic was sunk on 6th October 1940 by a German parachute mine Le Poulmic was 121 ft long with a 27ft beam so quite small ship. Le Poulmic is scattered over a wide area on a rocky seabed at 15-20M. the deck, winches and double bottom comprise the main structure left.
