United Arab Emirates Gulf Of OmanSnoopy Island can be visited from Sandy Beach Motel (this dive site is the only shore dive on the East Cost) or from the boat. The southern side of the island offers the more interesting diving. There's plenty to see here, including several species of hard and soft corals and anemones. You can expect to see big mouth mackerel, morays, clownfish, lionfish. You may also see turtles and sharks. Look out for smaller marine life: pipefish, shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs...

United States PacificModerate Reef in very shallow waters. Excellent Snorkeling/Free Diving, but a bit shallow and bland for SCUBA. Maximum depths are around 18' and visibility is sometimes poor with some thermal mixing at the surface, but the cove is very well protected and calm, even in a strong north-west swell. Easy, effortless entry, even when 3-5 foot surf is breaking outside the points of the cove. A cleaning station for green sea turtles and the protection of this calm cove make it one of the most spectacular turtle-freindly dives I've even done on Maui. Often more than a dozen large turtles can be found here, ranging in size from young (dinner plate sized) to ancient (dinner table sized). Access is easiest for guests at the Napili Point Resort or the Honokeana Cove Condos, but there is a public pathway that requires a trek across the grounds of Napili Point. Parking is difficult for non-guests, but can be found nearby.
