Indonesia Celebes SeaThere is an abundance of exotic diversity in the many dive sites off Bangka Island. Some are accessible by shore, while others are visited by resort dayboats and/or liveaboards. There are many great walls and pinnacles along the east and north-east, inhabited by both large and small fish. Exquisite hard table corals and a riot of colored soft corals can be found here too. In the east, tiny Pontohi Pygmy seahorses cling to vertical walls where they're challenging to find and photograph in the current. Also to the east are sandy muck dives boasting the Flamboyant Cuttlefish, always an iridescent treat. Many great macro dives are to the west, where a stunning variety of Nudibranches can be found. The tiny knobby pink Pygmy Seahorses, Hippocampus Barbiganti, cling to pink gorgonian sea fans, never failing to impress. All in all, the diving in Indonesia is spectacular, and the diving off Bangka Island did not disappoint in May-June 2010.

Philippines Sulu and Sulawesi SeasThis is a great new dive site for whale sharks which is very accessible from Puerto Princesa, the provincial capital of Palawan. The whale sharks can be found there at any time of the year but their presence there is much less predictable than at Donsol. A great variety of feeding behaviour can be observed and they are often feeding in association with skipjack tuna and seabirds, which makes locating them very easy. The water visibility is generally excellent.

Honduras Gulf Of MexicoThis was a guided shark dive about 5 miles offshore Roatan where the first 15 minutes were spent in the midst of expectant sharks with many great photo ops. We were then gathered against a wall. A bucket of chum was opened about 50 feet away while we watched the feeding frenzy with many more photo ops at a healthy distance. It was a great dive!

Italy Tyrrhenian SeaTHe site is Punta Tegge, good for very long night dives in shallow water, no more then 3 meters, the best period is from march to the first half of juin, full of many specimen of marin life during their reproductional period, octopuses, squids, fish of different kind, torpedo rays, soil fish, crabs a and more. On the location few meters from the site there is a diving.

Loads of macro subjects and regular sightings of Thresher Sharks, with the chance to see Hammerheads, Mantas, Devils and other rays.
