Egypt Red SeaNice wreck, but with a tragic history (the official death toll from her sinking was 470 - many of those were returning from a pilgimage to Mecca). She lies in approximately 30m of water on her starboard side. Shes about 100m long with a beam of around 18m. One of the largest wrecks in the Egyptian Red Sea. She still has lifeboats sitting on the sea bed near the funnels.

Ecuador PacificThe Galapagos Islands are the only place on Earth that you can swim with penguins in relatively warm water. We were snorkeling near the island named Chinese Hat, from the liveaboard Flamingo I (Ecoventura).
A flock of about 6-10 friendly penguins swam with us for about 20 minutes. They checked out our cameras, flippers (see photo), and nibbled gently at our wetsuits. The bottom was lava rock covered with kelp with marine iguanas were feeding on the kelp. Water temperatures were in the low 70's in May.

Honduras Caribbean SeaNice little dive site just off the shore of Laguna Beach Resort. Several entry points from the shore. The proximity to the lagoon with murky water can effect the visibily but increases the likelihood to spot special marine life like eagle rays or yellow stingrays. Nice hard coral wall with several cracks, dropping from 3-4m down to 20m+. Toadfish, green moray, sharp nose puffer, schools of Blue Tang, different angelfish, occasional pelagics like jacks or palometa. Several cleaning stations in the shallow. Great for wide angle especially in the morning and afternoon.

Maldives Indian OceanThe biggest channel in the Rasdhoo Atoll, long
reefs with hard and soft corals. Due to the
hydrographic conditions, channels belong to
the favorite feeding grounds of large plankton
feeders. Therefor sights of mantas frequently
occur on that diving spot. The equally elegant
eagle rays and white-tip reef sharks can also
be seen there. Moray eels, lion fish and parrot
fish you find almost everywhere. The very rare
ribbon eel can be observed there, mostly with
just the head exposed.

Maldives Indian OceanExperience grade: OK for Open water divers, but make sure not to wait too long on the surface while there is some current.
Facts about dive:
This dive sites is simply excellent. It has a very convenient shape, and beautiful formations, easy to dive and you can always expect to get thrilled by a nice encounter.
On your way down - you will get surrounded by a giant shoal of blue keel unicorn fish.
You will be able to see the top of the thila as soon as you stick your head under the surface. It is shaped oval and the top is at 5 -13m, which makes it extremely convenient for a safety stop on the way up.
The thila is sloping down steadily on each side with plateaus and big coral blocks positioned here and there all the way to the sandy bottom at around 35m.
By the coral blocks on the top you will be able to find stone fish and scorpion fish hiding underneath and in small holes and crevices. If you look really carefully, it is often possible to find a small leaf fish, hiding between the soft coral and sponges.
Under some of the bigger coral blocks you can sometimes find baby white tip reef shark or a nurse shark or two.
Hawksbill turtles and gray reef sharks are visiting the thila frequently.
