United States Gulf Of MexicoThis is a great dive loaded with fish life. There are resident Goliath Groupers, large schools of snappers and Atlantic spadefish, and plenty of colorful angelfish, damselfish, and blennies. For the critter hunters, check the sea whips for an assortment of shrimps, crabs, and cowries. Max depth is about 75 feet and the upright ship provides a nice profile and some swim throughs.

Netherlands Antilles Caribbean SeaOur first trip to Bonaire in 2010 and we just loved it. The reefs were so lush and full of life. The Island is basically set-up as a divers playground. We stayed at Buddy dive resort and they were fantastic. Our favourite site was Barri Reef. The site was a 5 min. drive from Buddy dive resort. The site was easy to enter and exit and we found more life there than on any of the other 8 sites we were on. We can hardly wait to get our selves back to Bonaire in 2014.

Mexico Caribbean SeaCruising between swim-throughs along Punta Delila, I paused over a coral head and spied what appeared to be tiny tentacles nestled within a fissure at the bottom of a healthy patch of polyps. It wasn't until later, after reviewing Humann/Deloach's 'The Reef Set' that I identified this specimen as a Branching Anemone. Fairly common ...or so the descripton goes, but I had never noticed these creatures until putting my new 100mm Canon macro lens into use. By retraining my eye to look for small subjects I've found a whole new world of exotics revealed as never before!
