NetherlandsThe Bosmolenplas is not connected to any river. This means visibility is good most of the year. There are a lot of objects on the bottom like reefballs, boatwrecks, carwrecks, even a selfmade helicopter and airplane. There are also treebranches for perch to lay eggs in springtime. Perch and pike are the most common fish. The small marinelife is also abundant, Mysidacea, mussels, caddis and lots of other small stuff.
At 10 metres there are two platforms for instruction.
At 18metres there is a vertical wall that stops at 28 metres. Due to the thermocline this wil be a cold dive so a drysuit is reccommended.

Norway Norwegian SeaEasy dive site, just off the jetty at Gulen Dive Resort (www.divegulen.com). Lots of nudibranchs and other macro life, especially at night. Even sharks and octopi turn up sometimes. Excellent site, one of my favourites.

United States Gulf Of MexicoThis is a popular snorkeling location in the summer, especially when bay scallops are in season. The sites here are shallow, with the deepest approximately 20 feet. The area is covered with sea grass beds interspersed with sand holes. Sea life includes loggerhead and green sea turtles, scallops, sea hares, tulip shells, large horse conchs and lightning whelks, pin shells, flounder, mullet, catfish, small sharks, horseshoe crabs, cowfish, burfish, and if you are real lucky, seahorses!

Mozambique Mozambique Channel DIVE LODGE SET ON FINGER OF LAND THAT HAS THE RIVER ON THE WEST AND SEA ON THE EAST. NORTH SECTION OF THE LODGE IS THE RIVER MOUTH. WATER TEMP IS THE UPPER 20'S There are 12 regular sea dive sites and still many more to be explored. The river makes excelent shallow diving with sea horses a plenty.
POPULAR DIVE REEFS Rappies Playstation 10m – 20m
This is an underwater fairy land, with deep gullies, caverns and awesome swim-throughs. Sheltered by a 10m high amphitheatre, this stunning site is home to Rappie, a 50kg Potato Bass, and his family. Rappie got his name due to a large Rapala hooked in his mouth. He is resident and is quite friendly. Kingfish are commonly seen here as well as sharks, mantas and morays. Minimum certificate : O.W. 1. Must have a minimum of 30 dives.
Manta Reef 12m – 21m
As its name implies, one stands a good chance of seeing Manta-Rays on this reef. The reef is also home to an abundance of fish species including Potato and Brindle Bass. Caves and deep gullies riddle the reef, which is quite extensive with some good drop offs. Gamefish and sharks are frequently seen here.
Robs Ridge 8m – 15m
This site consists of a ridge running parallel to the coast and is home to an amazing amount and variety of tropicals. The outside edge has numerous crevices and caves that are home to Moray’s and Skates. Kingfish and Couta are also seen here as well as the occasional shark. Coral, especially dishes, are abundant and diverse. This is a lovely drift dive where one can drift for up to 1km. Minimum certificate : O.W.1
Zambia Shoal 5m – 26m
This shoal lies +/- 15km from the base and runs parallel to the coast +/- 4km off shore. The shoal is approximately 6km long x 400m wide and is a gamefish paradise. Regularly seen are species like Couta, Kingies, Wahoo, Sailfish and Marlin. The shoal is also home to a huge variety of corals. Sharks, Mantas, Whale Sharks and Rays are common sightings. Viz. Averages : +/- 20mMinimum Certificate : O.W.1

Maldives Indian Oceanat a cleaning station for mantas, we wre very lucky on our first dive to have these udewater 747's swim around us. This picture captures their size in realtion to the group of divers watching them, and makes us feel pretty small in the process

NetherlandsA wreck is laying here with the front into the shoreline. To the south there is a slope covered with stones. In the warmer months, specially during nightdives there is a lot of fish. Unfortenately the visibility gets very poor as the water is getting warmer. The best time to dive is spring when pike-perch is coming to spawn.

Cuba Caribbean Sea"The Slot" is a shore dive and is considered advanced. Can only dive this location if the swells are less than 2 ft. Requires grabbing a rope hand over hand through a narrow passage in the coral. Once past the entry, follow the rope for approximately three hundred yards and you will get to the wall. Drops from about 75 ft to 200 ft.

Saudi Arabia Red SeaReasonably healthy reef with good, easy access from the beach. The Dive amenities could use a little work, fresh running water at the dive hut and a phone line for emergencies would be a huge improvement but otherwise some good dives.
