United States Atlantic (North American coastal)Air Force Tower is an old navigational aid. The bottom is about 70 feet while the top of the structure is 20 feet below the surface. The structure is home to at last 3 different types of blenny - seaweed, Molly Miller, and tessalated. It also attracts many other fishes to include spadefish, bonita, cobia, makeral, flounder, snappers, blue angelfish, barracuda, cocoa damselfish, and the occasional Goliath Grouper. Diving can be challenging due to strong currents and poor visibility.

Honduras Caribbean SeaThis site has a small wall starting around 35 feet and continuing to 90 about feet. Although there is a drop-off further out to sea, only tech divers explore the outer reaches of this site. In addition to seeing a myriad of hard and soft corals, recreational divers often see spotted eagle rays, turtles, and green morays here in addition to the more common Caribbean marine species. Although most divers dive this site from a day boat, it is also accessible from the shore.

Sudan Red SeaSanganeb (Sanganeab) Atoll is located a short distance outside Port Sudan. It was the only place we actually set foot on Sudan terrirory after clearing Customs in Port Sudan. (We stayed on the liveaboard while our crew efficiently cleared us in and out of Customs). The diving in the Sudanese waters was tremendous. The reefs are uncrowded; we only saw one other dive boat during almost 2 weeks in Sudan. The fish life is wonderful and the visibility is great. Unfortunately, the water was warm in September, and we only saw a couple of sharks. However, other large life made up for the missing sharks, such as schools of bumphead parrotfish, squadrons of manta rays, and a few Napolean wrasses.

Indonesia PacificBubble Coral Shrimp are really small critters who like to hide in the crevasses of the bubble coral. They are translucent to the point that sometimes you only see the blue outlines of their appendages. These little carpet shrimp are so small and hidden that they are almost impossible to see. You just have to look closely each time you come on to their habitat.

Fiji PacificPreviously called Purple Wall, Road Rage was renamed by one of our regular divers who said that the ripping currents and overwhelming numbers of fish traffic here just weren't well enough described by a "wall dive".
Drop in at the end the Naiqoro Marine Reserve passage and descend to the bottom to be swept into the mouth of the channel to get caught up in the traffic!

Malaysia South China SeaThe Pulau Bidong archipelago consists of Pulau Yu Besar, Pulau Yu Kechil, Pulau Gelok, Pulau Karah, Batu Tengkorak and Pulau Bidong. Pulau Bidong is located about 5 miles south of Redang, a 15-20 minute speedboat ride away. It is also possible to go from Merang by boat. Close enough to Redang for a day trip, Pulau Bidong has no resorts but holds many memories for Vietnamese refugees who once passed through its gates.

Fiji PacificOur newest dive site only discovered in early 2008, this site has turned out to be another Kadavu site where manta rays can be seen regularly.
Even without these magnificent creatures, the reef itself is outstanding in its quality and diversity of fish life.
If you see mantas as well, this dive will always rank amongst the best you will ever do.

You'll be taken by the size and graze of these beautiful creatures as they circle inquisitively. Though almost within touching distance all you'll do is stand back in awe.

Dominica Caribbean SeaA mixing zone between Caribbean and Atlantic waters; begin on the Atlantic side and dive through a tunnel to the Caribbean, the wall forms part of a sunken volcanic crater. If there is a current it brings up all sorts of nutrients and creatures big and small feed on each other.
The tunnel is cloaked in soft and cup corals, the wall has a profusion of colour from crinoids and black coral trees, to giant barrel sponges and vase sponges. following the wall brings you back to the edge of the crater and back on the shelf where the mooring can be found.
A truly jaw dropping dive and a must see for any diver visiting the Commonwealth of Dominica.
