Netherlands North SeaEasy divesite at the end of the Oosterschelde. There is little tide movement and the current is very weak. This means that you can enter the water all the time. There is a platform for instruction. This is overgrown with marine life and in summertime fish is swimming around and under the platform. To the east there is a lot of sand. To the west is a small band of rocks between 3-8 meters stretching for about 50 meters. After that, ...sand. Its not the most beautiful divesite in the Oosterschelde but in springtime Sepia's are coming here and if you into macro there is a lot of interesting small stuff to find.

United States PacificYou can dive here year round, with the Humpback whales here in Dec-May the whale song can be heard while diving .... AMAZING !!! Turtles in the dozens , Sharks , Eels , Octopus, Sea Horses, ... great coral and lots of fish. We've seen pretty much everything there is to see in Hawaii at this site. Tiny Bubbles Scuba has a dive shack right on the waters edge; they do intro dives, beach dives, night dives, and scooter dives. Also offering all levels of certification. "Let's Get Tanked...!"

United States PacificThis is a 26 acre underwater park, marked by rope trails for navigational purposes. It is part of a marine sanctuary which disallows any type of fishing and boating. It is a shore dive with a max depth of around 40 ft. Home to some of the largest lingcod and cabezon found in the Pacific Northwest. Many different types or vertebrates and invertebrates can be found. On occasion a gray whale can be seen and a Giant Pacific Octopus has been known to take up residency. Probably one of the most dived sites on the west coast.

Canada PacificAn easy entry (wheelchair ramp into the water unless really low tide), fresh water rinse when you get out adjacent to a campground. Go out to the marker to find the sister mermaid to the one in Grand Caymen. Always a rock fish between her fingers and sea stars on her head. Staight out from her is a barren moon like landscape with huge boot and vase sponges, each with it's own resident fish, crab or...
Instead of going to the mermaid go right and stay in 5-20 feet of water to see buffalo sculpin, moon snails and all the tiny critters that like eel grass.
Love this dive

United StatesDive 1: Drop in and go counter-clockwise around small island northwest of drop in. Keep the island wall to your right the whole time. At beginning of dive, (approximately 8 o'clock) depth is about 70 ft. As you progress around the island wall and reach 12 o'clock the depth rises to 50 ft. Once you reach the channel the depth becomes around 30 ft. If you have good air management you can do a complete lap around the island with one tank depending on how much stopping you do. WARNING: Due the Northern exposure of this dive the water can get unpredictable at times, especially in the channel. Make sure you do this dive on mellow days.
Dive 2: Drop in and go Northwest-west. An advanced dive ensues that starts you out at 70 ft. As you keep traveling in the same direction the dive gets deeper and deeper. At about 100-110 ft it's about time to turn around and head back. This dive is an advanced dive because of the depth, air management, and the navigation skills needed.
Dive 3: Drop in east of the point marked on map you will find a pipeline heading Southwest-west. You can follow the pipe to the end and back getting as deep as 70 ft. A nice dive with a lot to look at.
There are even more dives here in this area but these are my top three that I've found out here so far.

Portugal Atlantic (European coastal)Cabana Divers at Fonte da Telha, near Lisbon, does offer one of the best dive sites of the portuguese continental coast - Pedra da Lagoa. Average visibility is around 10m but can reach more than 15m ocasionally, and 20m exceptionally. Many different species can be observed, from huge schools of small fish to more than 1,5m Corvinas (Argyrosomus regius). Mola Mola is also very common. Lobsters, nudibranchs, several crabb types also very regular. Other common fish species are the blacktails, Gilt-head seabreams, European seabass, etc. Because of the rocky bottom, this diving spot also holds many colorful gorgonies.

Saint Kitts and Nevis Caribbean SeaThe site is off Pinney's beach - north end - you can see a church on the hill almost directly across from the cave site. The cave is small but big enough to swim into and turn around. There is a school of neon fish that seem to live there (they've been there every time I've managed to find the cave over the last 15 years.
It's tough to find that cave because it's really just the underside of a hill of coral. The reason I like it is that it's accessible from the beach and is the only water near the beach that isn't full of suspended sand (the cave blocks it of course). Another reason I like this cave is that I one time entered it with the intention of photographing the neon's and found a Hawksbill sea turtle in there. The shot I got was amazing with the turtle trying to easy out past me, pretty difficult with such a small opening, and the school of neon's in the foreground, lobster antennae in the background...
Scuba shop: Scuba Safari's, Oualie Beach, Nevis. Great people.... For better dive sites have them take you out on their boat.

Indonesia Bali SeaDepending on the swell, this place can be paradise or hell. The day this particular shot was captured, a storm was brewing out to sea which made entry and exit quite a task with the increasing swell size. Later in the afternoon rescues had to be carried out by boat to retreive returning divers as exit from the beach was impossible( 5-6 feet waves breaking on beach)
A volcano eruption in 1963 has left a black, rocky beach. If you have a big camera, it is a definate MUST to have guide to help you with your diving.

United KingdomYou need permission from Thames Water to dive here. This includes various restrictions such as A flags and probably not in high season!
The attraction of this dive is what you can find here. We pulled out a pistol from here!
My buddy was scared out of his wetsuit when a 3 foot sturgeon(?) jumped out of a shopping trolley he disturbed.

Australia Indian Oceani used to work on a pearl farm 2 hours north of broome in western Australia. absolutly beautiful. extrememly untouched with many islands around themainland, but on the inside of the pennensula. Quite afew aboriginal communities and no dive tours available. personal or hire boats to explore the area, salt water crocs are very common and tiger sharks :Z a good knowledge of these creatures and the area will be of great advantage aswell as poisonous jelly fish very common in the wet season. apart from the bad , diving is very rewarding and an experience.
