United States PacificElectric Beach gets it's name from the power plant across the street. It's located on Oahu's West side. Just take H-1 freeway west until it ends and turns into Farrigton highway. Continue on farrington highway untill you pass the Ko Olina exit. Electric beach will be on the left in just a nother 1/2 mile. Electric Beack AKA Kahe point State beck Park is one of the few places you can dive year round and that makes it also a popular training site. I got my start here back in 1994. Since then i've done hundreds of dives here and seen everything from sharks, dolphins turtles and rays to nudibranches, all the tropical fish to harliquin shrimp. The dives usually range from 20-40 FSW and last about 80 minutes. Water temp ranges from 70 in the winter to 82 in the summer. Vis is from 30-100 feet. The unique thing about this dive site are the two big hot water discharge pipes about 500 feet off shore. The powerplant brings in sea water to cool the turbines then discharges to water back off shore. It's really nice to swim by in the winter time for a warm up.

Ireland AtlanticFungi the dolphin was there in 2005 when I went.
The local dive centre said he wasn't really interested in divers and you would be lucky to get a dive with him.
There's a lot of competition with the local fungi watching boats during the day anyway
But you can be reasonably sure of snorkelling with him if you get up early enough. Don't bother paying for a guided snorkel, just go to the bay next to the lifeboat station as early as you can. If he's there, you might get lucky

Perfect diving for everybody. The water is a bit cold so 2 layers of 7mm or a dry-suit is needed. The viz can range between non or 50 ...
There are plenty of sites for all level of divers, Breakwater is perfect for first-timers and night dives. Monastary beach is more for the experienced divers, watch the beach entry because it can be quite tricky.
Diveshops, daytrips (boat) are available.
The dives are full of sea-lions, lingcod, cabezon, kelp .. etc etc

Denmark Baltic SeaAlong Langeland’s coast, we find one of history’s busiest shipping lanes and an impressive ship graveyard.
The naturalist and macro photographer will find many exciting visual and ecological discoveriesbelow and above the sea, from the subtle hues of the Danish white nights and landscapes to the magnificent underwater stone reefs.
Divecenter Langeland is situated in an old picturesque farm house from 1777 on the Danish island of Langeland in Southern Denmark.
There is immediate access to this plethora of wrecks from various eras including many well preserved WWII wrecks as well as subsea Stone Age and viking settlements.
This is the wreck of Dr. Eichelbaum - a german WW2 armoured trawler, sunk in the Great Belt in 26meters, and just 15 min from the beach. On this wreck some sportsdivers found a lot of interesting artifacts. For example these:

To supplement the wreck diving we usually go reef diving as dive number two
This is from a German Motortorpedoboat. This one is a shallow dive - only 12meters. How about that for accessibility?
Common plaice - this one had confidence in his camouflage. Could have ended him up on my frying pan if I hadn't had my hands full of camera.
The Great Belt - the most important shipping lane between the Baltic and the Atlantic. This narrow strait is littered with exciting wrecks and reefs, just a few mins away with the RIB.
Theis the wreck of "Tromp" - blown up by a mine. Now it is covered by a a fur of sealillies.
The water is real close - walking distance from the dive centre. In this bay there are both remains from viking and stone age settlements

A goby watching his territory - night dives are really easy. Though in mid summer the sunset is really late.
The chalets of the Dive centre have direct view over a protected nature reserve and the sunset! A perfect place for a good barbeque.
The reefs in the currents are teeming with life.
You don't need a boat to get to the reefs. Here they end on the beach. Grab your camera and hop in.
This is the wreck of Island - another German warship and WW2 casualty. At 25 meters you get ample bottom time.
"Stentrans" is a big wreck - and a fairly modern one. It lies on its port side in 24meters of water. This is the crane boom in front of the first cargo hold. We are looking aft, so the silhouet to the left of the diver is the starboard rail and behind the diver is the brigde with "up" pointing right
This is my curiosity shot: A seaspider - about 1½ cms, or ½ inch long - I had only seen them in textbooks, when this one came dancing past me when I was photographing the plaice above. This is in 2 meters of water.
And that is what I like about this place. I always see something new.

Costa Rica PacificOn the Sea Hunter Liveaboard. Dirty rock is a dive site near to Cocos Island which attracts large species: Mantas, Whale Sharks, Hammerheads, Killer Whales, False Killer Whales, Dolphins and large shoals of Jacks. Because it is round, you can stay in the same place and photograph the same animal/s several times as they swim round and round the rock.

Kenya Indian OceanThis dive is in the National Marine Reserve. A quick 20minute boat ride takes you to a moored buoy. A descent to about 10metres will find you at the reef top. Covered with soft and hard corals. Plenty here to photograph. Just over the edge of the reef is a large arch that was filled with a shoal of glass fish. There are two reefs that you can explore, separated by a gully. We were told that whale sharks have been seen here, but were not lucky enough to encounter one ourselves. We did however see two turtles swimming calmly past, and spotted what looked like a dolphin in the distance.

Fiji PacificFiji is known for it's huge sea fans and soft corals, along with mantas, hammerheads and big pelagics. The diving is for all levels with shallow and deep reefs, ledges, wall diving, lagoons and wrecks. Dive sites are the Great White Wall, Purple and Red Wall, Yellow Wall, Rainbow Reef and the Pinnacle. At Beqa you will find a reef-filled lagoon with it's outer reefs having drop-offs that can plunge up to a mile down bringing in sharks and pelagics. Diving is all year, although there is normally a plankton bloom from February thro March. The water here is warm, but a lightweight wetsuit or lycra suit will give protection from abrasion etc.

Papua New Guinea PacificThe reefs here are still pretty pristine, and hard and soft corals are numerous in the lagoons, and around the islands and reefs. There is diving for every level of experience, deep reefs, shallow coral gardens, walls and of course WWII wrecks. The main diving areas are Madang for coral and Hansa Bay where you will encounter many shallow wrecks. Tufi has the fjords of Cape Nelson and Wlindi has sone of the most spectacular pinnacle and reef diving. There are also many live-aboard boats that visit the Islands and coral atolls. A lightweight wetsuit or lycra suit is advisable as protection from abrasion etc. The wet season is from December - April but diving is all year round.
