Fiji PacificSo named by a divemaster who marked it on the map inside the reef at Naiqoro Marine Reserve with a big X.
This delicate dive site is one of the best places to get those marvelous Great Astrolabe Reef acropora table coral shots. Many huge specimens here all in pristine condtion.

Fiji PacificPreviously called Purple Wall, Road Rage was renamed by one of our regular divers who said that the ripping currents and overwhelming numbers of fish traffic here just weren't well enough described by a "wall dive".
Drop in at the end the Naiqoro Marine Reserve passage and descend to the bottom to be swept into the mouth of the channel to get caught up in the traffic!

Fiji PacificOur newest dive site only discovered in early 2008, this site has turned out to be another Kadavu site where manta rays can be seen regularly.
Even without these magnificent creatures, the reef itself is outstanding in its quality and diversity of fish life.
If you see mantas as well, this dive will always rank amongst the best you will ever do.

Fiji PacificA very special dive and one of the few places in the world where manta rays can be seen regularly.
You'll be taken by the size and graze of these beautiful creatures as they circle inquisitively. Though almost within touching distance all you'll do is stand back in awe.
Even without these magnificent creatures, the reef itself is outstanding in its quality and diversity of fish life.
If you see mantas as well, this dive will always rank amongst the best you will ever do.

Honduras Caribbean SeaThe wreck lies in approximately 95 feet, and the reef is between the reef and the island, only a few fins kicks away.

Dominica Caribbean SeaA mixing zone between Caribbean and Atlantic waters; begin on the Atlantic side and dive through a tunnel to the Caribbean, the wall forms part of a sunken volcanic crater. If there is a current it brings up all sorts of nutrients and creatures big and small feed on each other.
The tunnel is cloaked in soft and cup corals, the wall has a profusion of colour from crinoids and black coral trees, to giant barrel sponges and vase sponges. following the wall brings you back to the edge of the crater and back on the shelf where the mooring can be found.
A truly jaw dropping dive and a must see for any diver visiting the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Malta Mediterranean SeaA stunning dive with wonderful easy caves, and great marine life. At an average of only 10 mts it is one of my top three sites ever. I have dived it over a few hundred time now and it still lights me up.

Australia Coral SeaThis 47m trawler washed up on the beach in November 2003 after suffering engine failure. She was then towed and sunk on 24th December 2003. She has since become the premier wreck dive in the region and home to thousands of fish and other marine life. The vessel sits upright in 26 metres with the deck at 18 metres, making it easily accessible to both open water and more advanced divers. Full penetration diving is available to those with the knowledge and experience.

United States Atlantic (South)Wreck dives, Spiegel Grove viz was not as good as I expected, mostly 30 ft to 40 ft, USNS Vandenberg has strong currents and viz also was limited, not much marine life on the Vandenberg, it will be pristine in a couple of years when the marine life moves on it. So far all that is there are a couple of Groupers, under 100 pounds. Phillipines was a great dive site as well, Dumaghette & Puerto Galera, pristine reefs, easy diving mostly shallow dives down to 90 feet. The Carribean is the Carribean, the reefs are dying and the big animal life is hard to find, Cozumel is always great for a fast drift and tunnels and swim throughs, I stay away from cave diving. Costa Rica on the NW side of the country, Hermosa, has some big animals and the viz is poor because of the planten in the water to feed the big boys. The South Pacific has my interest, this year I went to Fla. and going to Dominica and then to Borneo for 2 weeks.

Indonesia Molucca SeaMuck diving! There are some small walls inthe Lembeh straits and some reefs, but mainly it's about the muck. Vast plains of black or white sand. This is the Serengeti of the underwater world. Nowhere to hide but under the sand. In this environment, it's hide, eat, look really deadly or be eaten. There are creatures here that are too weird - things you would expect from deep sea creatures or other planets. It may not be strong current adreneline diving, but you gotta camera, there's lots to photograph.
I dived with NAD, which was a small resort with only beer being the only alcohol - there's no bar, but it's small, friendly and the guides are great - especially Nan. Rooms are comfy, but the roof runs along the length of all rooms, so there can be some noise. Food is buffet style and very nice.
I then dived with Lembeh Resort - twice the price but rooms, food, drinks nicer. Still, diving's still the same, so depends on your budget and comfort needs. colourful deeper walls full of macro life and walls against the shore covered in invertebrate life right up to the surface. At night these walls are an explosion of colour and its the best night dive site I have ever dived

Grenada Caribbean SeaThe ship wreck lays less than 10 minutes off the carribean side of grenada.
We stayed at the Rex Grenadian hotel and dived with Devotion 2 Ocean who are situated on the beach of the hotel.
The Veronica L is an old mine sweeper that sank carrying concrete. To its side is the most beautiful flat bed reef that is scattered with rocks, grasses and corals.
Amazing dive sites... all less than 10 mins from the beach ... definately not to be missed.
