Indonesia Banda SeaWakatobi is one of the top five dive destinations in the world and will return after a Raja AMpat trip this October. Indonesia Halmahera Seaa narrow channel between these 2 large islands which can flow with quite a strong current in the middle although it is quite calm along the sides. The channel has trees growing overhead and teems with marine life below the surface. Huge gorgonian fans and soft corals etc, even growing on the dead trees that have fallen into the water.

Indonesia Sulu and Sulawesi SeasThis photo was taken on my trip to Lembeh Strait Indonesia. We were on a night drift dive when I snapped this shot. What a lucky one I was! Surgeonfish and cleaner shrimp in pink barrel sponge. I was using a Nikon D80 with Ikelite housing and my 18-135mm lens. This was my favorite shot of the whole trip!

Indonesia Andaman SeaWeh Island or Pulau Weh or Pulo Weh is a small active volcanic island to the northwest of Sumatra. It was originally connected to the Sumatran mainland and became separated by sea after the volcano's last eruption in the Pleistocene era.[1] The island is situated in the Andaman Sea. The largest city on the island, Sabang, is the westernmost outpost of Indonesia.
The island is known for its ecosystem; the Indonesian government has declared 60 km² of inland and sea around the island as a wildlife protection area. A rare megamouth shark species was found on shore and the island is the only habitat for the threatened toad, Bufo valhallae (genus Bufo). Coral reef areas around the island are known for their large variety of fish species.

Look for octopus, large schools of snappers and grunts. Angelfish and parrotfish.

Norway Norwegian SeaSaltstraumen is a sound with a strong tidal current located in Nordland some 30 km east of the city of Bodø, Norway. It is the strongest tidal current in the world. Up to 400 million m³ of seawater forces its way through a 3 km long and 150 m wide strait every six hours, with water speeds reaching 20 knots (about 37 km/h). Vortices up to 10 m in diameter and 5 m in depth are formed when the current is at its strongest; this feature is commonly known as a whirlpool.
