Philippines Philippine SeaBeen passing Sabang Beach in going to a local divespot "Lipata" (Surigao City, Philippines) when i decided yesterday morning to check out this predominantly sand bars formation (average depth at high tide is .5 of a meter) since it was the highest of high tides - an addition of 1.47 meters. And like magic, the water was exceptionally clear and the (always) submerged portions are well covered with sea grass. i started to get excited hoping to see some seahorses and leaf fishes in the muck areas. and lo and behold, this neon yellow snake eel.
