Italy Ionian SeaThis site is not so rich except the SW side, where the depth reaches -14mtrs and the bottom passes from cliffs and rocky to sandy one. There it's possible to meet many critters such as Sepiolas, many micro sand gobies, anc so on. Temperature is gradually increasing from june (18°C) agust (25°C) and from november to march decreases (24-17°C), april-may is almosta constant (17-19°C).

Indonesia Bali SeaCrystal Bay is a small bay which is protected from the currents around the island Nusa Penida, one of the sister islands east of Bali in the Lombok strait. Crystal Bay consists of sandy channel in the middle with on the north-side a sloping reef that turn into a dropoff close to Toyapakeh strait. The sloping reef can be challenging for Scuba diving when the planning is not right, strong currents aswell as downcurrent can rush to the bay. The are 3 cleaning station for Ocean Sunfish at this dive site where this large pelagic happens to appear between june and oktober when the water temperature is sometimes less then 20 degrees celcius. The top of the sloping reef contains some nice corals and also for the macro lovers this is a good place to dive, nudibranch, small shrimp, snake eels, seahorse and much more can be found at this dive site. There is a batcave with underwater entrance that can be excessed when the conditions are right, the hole in the ceiling of the cave can make some dramatic lighting. Crystal Bay is mainly reached by boat (45 minute ride) from Bali's mainland.

Lots of marine fish life but often same species. Not a great diversity. A smattering of invertabrates including urchins and fire worms.
Excellent wreck diving, including "Rozi" (30m) and HMS Maori (17m).

Bahamas Caribbean SeaFor wall diving, not for beginners. Great diving, vis 75-100 feet, great swim-thrus. Resort located near marina. Price inclusive of food which is not fancy, but very good. Get up for 7:30 breakfast, at boat at 8:30 for 2 morning dives, return for lunch, back to boat at 2:30, return about 4. Room had enough space to clean and take care of camera, boat had large container for camera, place to rinse and hang equipment after daily dives. One night dive a week. House reef not really close, but diving off boat was always pretty close. Bahamas suffering from infestation of lionfish, so DM's were spearing them all they could. This brings in marine life to feed off spears - sharks, groupers. Saw sharks every dive but one. Saw hammerheads - scalloped & smooth. Saw lots of macro - reef bleaching of 90's is almost gone. Wonderful place to dive, should be on every divers "wish list".
