Bunaken Marine Park, North Sulawesi

   Indonesia  Sulu and Sulawesi Seas
This Porcelain Crab was taken on a wall dive. Photo was loaded with a lot of anemones and the crab was a small dot. Another lucky shot. Taken with a Canon point and shoot with internal flash and diffuser.

Samarangersee

   Austria
An absolute fave. Cristal clear water with a maximum depth of 17m. No more than 4 divers are allowed at once in the lake and you must have 100 logged dives at least to dive it. This is due to the special algae which covers everything. If touched by bad buoyancy it takes a very long time to settle again and it covers the fauna wich then dies. Due to the low temperatures, photosynthesis is very slow.

This is a wonderful dive on the north end of bonaire. Entry and exit are super easy. There is a short sandy area filled with lots of small macro subjects, followed quickly by a great wall with lots of larger fish and turtles.

Carthagian wreck dive

   United States  Pacific
The Carthaginian is a sunken wreck off the West Coast of Maui, HI. with it's keel in about 99ft. There is a resident Frogfish and Spotted Eagle Rays can be seen buzzing the site on a regular basis. The Atlantis submarine can also be seen cruising the perimeter.
