Netherlands Antilles Caribbean SeaLovely dive site on the south coast of Curacao. Very easy water entry with a short swim to the drop off point of the first of a triple reef system. Excellent facilities including restaurant, showers, toilets, rinse tanks and equipment hire. For the non divers this is a beautiful beach on which to sunbathe and snorkel, it even has massage facilities for those who like a little pampering.
There is a small entry fee 2$, but it is well worth it, a great day out for the whole family. The only drawback is that it can get quite crowded in the weekends (and costs 3$ for entry), so try to visit during the week!

Canada PacificA colourful wall full of life on one side and a shallow kelp forest with many inhabitants on the other. As you descend you find a ledge at 50 feet, covered in white plumose anemones. This is your chance to make any needed gear adjustments before descending over what seems to be a bottomless wall. Pinks, reds, oranges, purples dazzle the eyes. Soft corals, sponges, anemones cover the wall and king crabs, irish lords and sea purch hide in plain sight. Barnacles feed in the current and divers can float effortlessly as the current takes you gently to the end of the island. When you round the end you enter a shallow kelp forest, home to many different fish, including the elusive rock greenling. What a dive!

Puerto Rico Caribbean SeaPlaya Crashboat is an excellent diving site. It is located on Route 107 in Aguadilla. Offering easy shore entry and exits, it is a must dive for all levels of divers. There are four piers above the water and one sunken. Originally, Navy boats docked there to be ready to rescue downed airplanes from the former Ramey Air Force Base. Max. depth around the piers is 35 feet. There is a vast amount of marine life on the piling of the piers. Often you find a lobster or two under the sunken pier. Turtles and seahorses linger around the pilings. The sandy bottom is home to gobies and queen conch.
For the technical diver, a sunken buoy sits at 120' feet of water. Local divers have marked with lines routes to points of interest such as the "tires" and the sunken buoy.
Puerto Rico Technical Diving Center offers guided shore dives to Playa Crashboat (and other local dive sites) during the day or night for a reasonable fee. Experienced divers may want to rent equipment and do a self-guided tour. PRTDC will give a complimentary briefing to its customers upon request about the conditions and route.
-DAY OR NIGHT--Good all around dive

IndonesiaDecember 2003, just before Christmas , visited Manado- Indonesia the 2nd time with a group of 10 . Weather was bad, it was wet almost all day, no sun at all, just feel cold and dont like diving.
LUckily , i try not to miss any dive including one of the wall dive ..... water condition was bad, i cant see far, suddenly, an ugly big head fish (?) without body come toward me, i am fighten as i am unable to confirm what is that , i keep on point toward the direction and do not go near, immediately, my instructor -JACK fry there...... but this big ugly thing dont like him and other memeber therefore turn away. Insturctor JACK was unable to go after him and turn back and talk to me very loud (this is the first time after 90 dive that some one talk to me in the water ) and say SUN FISH , he also use his finger to write on his hand SUN and he jsut look crazy. By then, i known i had see SUN FISH ( MOLAMOLA) with my own eyes.
After the dive, a check with the dive master who had dive 1500 times in the same dive site, he confirm that this was his 2nd time see the sun fish and a much bigger one.
Jack was much more than happy as he had traveled to Bali-Indonesia to see Sun Fish, but with no result. But this dive he see it with a group of 10, all group member witness it but none of us taken the pictures .

Northern Mariana Islands PacificA beautiful sunken pool connected to the ocean by underwater passages. The sunlight shining on the ocean outside the cave gives the water its amazing deep blue color with typical visability of 100 plus feet. The Saipan Grotto is one of Saipan's best diving spots. Considered by many as one of the best shore cavern dives in the world, this must do dive site in Saipan is sure to amaze you.
After entering the water through a large limestone hole, divers realize they are in a huge cavern. From here, there are three different exit holes to the sea. Once outside, there are beautiful walls, swim-throughs, and caves to explore. Turtles, sharks, and wrasse, are some of the many types of sea life to be seen at this magnificent dive site.

Oman Indian OceanI have been diving i Oman for a few years now, both North and South, but my favourite dive will always be the aquarium. I have always tried to end the weekends diving with a visit to the aquarium, its an easy shore dive, entering in a small rocky gully sinking down onto table coral where we find all sorts of small marine life, usually lobsters hiding in the coral and puffer fish hanging around. we then make our way across the bay to the aquarium itself. It starts off with a small rocky reef, loads of small fish, clown fish in their anemones, scorpion fish spread around, you can usually see rays and turtles here. moving towards the mouth of the bay you pass through the main coral which is covered with small marine life and for a while we had our own nurse shark, which hid amongst the coral, then pass on to the wall keeping an eye out for lion fish, stingrays normally settled on the bottom, depending on air consumption you can exit the bay to check out bigger reefs, but then turn around to pass back through the bay again, I will always love this dive. Thi is a very good dive site to train on, the middle of the bay has a flat bottom with sand, after carrying out your training you can show students lots of life and it can all be contained withing the bay.
Only problem with the site is it is 80 km from Salalah, the nearest big town and we always took all our own equipment and compressors, camping on the beach for weekends and longer when there are holidays.
The dive is also a good snorkelling site.

Bahamas Caribbean SeaWith advanced booking checking in was breeze, and was on the boat in 10 minutes upon arrival. The boat was great, 46ft lots of room and shade, topside sundeck, bathroom, freshwater showers, camera table, huge water cooler, everything you need.
The first dive was at Razorback reef, about a 15 minutes from the dock. During the dive briefing we were given the choice of following the divemaster or heading out on own. I followed the divemaster and it was very good dive, lots of life, saw a hammerhead, cool.
The 2nd am dive was 2 wrecks laying bow to stern, the first starting at about 35ft,the 2nd ending at around 60ft. Both of these ships are 180ft island tankers, this was a cool dive. This site is only about a minute from Stuart Cove's dock.
After lunch out to Sharkwall and Sharkarena, about 45 minutes or so, defnitively worth the ride. The dive is on a wall and coral gardens that surround Sharkarena the site of the 2nd dive. The sharks know a snack isn't too far away, with 6-10 following us around (and a couple grouper too). After a surface interval back down to the Sharkarena a natural sand spot surrounded by coral, the feeding begins. I was totally blown away by these 2 dives it was great lots of sharks in your face action, 6 days later I'm still processing it. If you want to see sharks and want to go with a great dive op chose Stuart Cove's. I can't think of anything negative about Stuart Cove's the entire staff was fantastic. I hired a private photographer from Stuart Cove's Fin Photo for the Shark encounter dives, Tori did a awesome job during the dives and gave me a disc with 61 great pictures, worth the extra money. I can't wait to go back

United States PacificHonolulu, Oahu, Hawaii
The YO 257 and the San Pedroo are the best wreck dive in the Hawaiian Islands. We have 2 170 ft shipwrecks laying side by side, 75 ft apart at a maximum depth of 100ft. Both wrecks have been there over 25 years and have atracted lots of marine live. There is tons of coral and fish, many big green sea turtles and 2 reef sharks that are permanent residents. It is a great dive for the intermediate (20 dives) to the experienced diver and a must to divers visiting the island of Oahu.

Kenya Indian OceanIt took about 30 minutes to this dive site. The wreck is an old steel shrimp boat which is about 120 feet long. My camera was kept busy with an octopus, rock cod, a moray and shoals of batfish. The wreck is quite incrusted so a good opportunity for macro.
