Sri Lanka Bay of BengalI spent some time talking with fish collectors on the main beach in Colombo. Having then been shown the tanks of fish collected from the local waters for sale to the world, more fish than we had seen in a week of diving!

Indonesia Banda SeaNov of 2013 was the time I visited the area, so water was very warm and clear. Roma has a lot of diversity, wall plus flat land diving, big coral heads and no current.

Australia Coral SeaThis was a wonderful dive site with many underwater snakes. The site was full of other marine life as well including a large Manta Ray. It can be reached by boat only and is visited regularly by local liveaboards.

Philippines South China SeaTaken from the Philippines Siren boat. Manila, to get boat at Batangas to then sail to Coron post Typoon Haiyan. Great dive team, good boat, but past its best and could not sail due to mask problems.

Philippines South China SeaThe little fish was hanging out within the Sea Grass. Taken with a 105 on a Nikon D7000 over Christmas 2013. The Dive team from the Aiyanar Beach and Dive Resort were excellent. Camera Room was really good. Diving was not cheap and a mix of Muck and Reef. The Reef outside the hotel was very good but no large fish.

Egypt Red SeaThe third and the longer of the fourth reefs of the Straight of Tiran. Beautiful wall full of soft corals, canyon at 32mt, sandy bottom at the end of the reef. Washin' machine current at the end of the reef.
